At All Metro we believe in open communication and you are encouraged to tell the world about your work and share your passion.  Whether you do so by participating in a blog, posting to a social network, or any other form of online publishing or discussion is completely up to you.  However, because these ways of communicating may directly or indirectly impact  co-workers, clients, and/or business partners, we have come up with the following guidelines for you when operating on the internet as an identifiable employee of All Metro.

  • Familiarize yourself with All Metro policies and procedures and the Code of Ethics, which apply even outside the workplace.  They describe how a client’s information can only be transmitted electronically outside of All Metro using secure methods that have been pre-approved.  Therefore, a client’s information must never be posted to the internet.  There are no exceptions.  If a client has an available shift, this should be conveyed to a Scheduling Coordinator and handled offline in consideration of the client’s privacy.
  • Only very few people in the company are official All Metro spokespeople.  So, unless you are one of them, you must make clear that you are speaking only for yourself and not on behalf of All Metro.  Do not use your All Metro email address for private communications and consider that even anonymous postings can be traced back to the company.
  • You are personally responsible for the content you post.  Use common sense because whatever you share will be visible to the world for a very, very long time.  Respect your audience by not using the type of language that would be unacceptable in the workplace.
  • Do not comment on work-related legal or financial matters or reference All Metro business partners without their approval.  Emails sent through All Metro accounts are meant for internal use only and should never be published.  Even if you act with the best intentions, remember that anything you put out there about All Metro can potentially harm the company.
  • Social media should not interfere with your All Metro responsibilities.  All Metro computer systems are to be used for business purposes only.
  • Please act responsibly.  If in doubt, please contact the All Metro Human Resources Department or your supervisor.   Subject to applicable law, online activity that violates Code of Ethics or any other All Metro policy may result in disciplinary action up to or including termination.
